Sander Verbrugge (1979) graduated cum laude in Applied Physics from Delft University of Technology, followed by a PhD in Physics at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. He then joined Roland Berger for 6 years, where he worked on projects in a variety of industries. One major project he was involved in was setting up the Pivot Park in Oss.
He strengthened his knowledge of the semiconductor industry by joining NXP. At NXP, he fulfilled a multitude of roles: Sander supported the CTO scouting team with market analysis and businesscases, he co-led the preparation of the integration of the global Sales Organization with Qualcomm. As Senior Director Global IoT Security Business Development, he developed value propositions for IoT verticals, managed the virtual global team of the regional Business Development Leads, and built IoT eco-systems with partners.
