We invest responsibly. Our investment strategy is designed to select and support technological developments that create both economic and societal value. We identify and manage environmental, social and governance (ESG)-related risks and opportunities throughout our investment process to preserve value and strengthen value potential.
We invest in emerging technologies that we believe have growth potential, create economic value and deliver societal benefits. We can invest up to €50 million per company over multiple funding rounds. We invest in all stages, from early to growth, to create great future companies. For early stage investments we can start at €2M tickets. Our geographic focus is Europe.
We focus on deep tech. Deep tech unlocks the future of innovation, delivering entirely new pathways toward societal value. Deep tech ventures develop enabling technologies and ground-breaking ideas when technologies and scientific disciplines come together in areas such as genetics, robotics, artificial intelligence, and photonics.
We exclusively invest in companies with unique and defendable IP and technology position, address a large market, and have the potential to grow rapidly. Moreover, these companies should have positive impact potential, focusing on but not limited to our investment themes.
Our portfolio companies must have the potential to become a global player. We focus on companies that require significant funding during their journey towards a fullly mature company. This journey can start from an early stage (pre-seed) via our TECHSTART® program, where we support pre-seed spin-offs from Dutch universities and research institutes with tickets of €250k up to €2M.
